The Homelessness Division has a very strong relationship with the Salvation Army. Castle students volunteer in Sanctuary 21 - helping during the week in the café as well as running a weekly Saturday night meal (made from food which has kindly been donated by local restaurants, shops, supermarkets and cafes).

We also run a homelessness awareness campaign week; as part of this project we make shelter packs to distribute in the harsh winter months and collect sanitary items for homeless and vulnerable women.

We always welcome new volunteers - get really stuck in by volunteering in the café weekly or dabble in the Saturday night meals, commitment levels are up to you! Volunteering is not only very rewarding but is also a great way to meet kind, fun and friendly people!!
